The latest episode of the Complex/Spotify podcast Infamous: The Tekashi 6ix9ine Story finds narrator Angie Martinez delving into the most dangerous moments of the controversial rapper’s rise.
In April 2018, Tekashi’s feud with Rap-a-lot Records and its founder J. Prince led the rainbow-haired rapper and members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods to commit a shocking robbery in the center of midtown Manhattan. A robbery that Tekashi filmed and put on the internet, in an attempt to embarrass his enemies. That act, along with a split-second decision made during the course of the crime, would come back to haunt him in surprising ways.
In this episode of Infamous, we hear from two of the victims of that robbery, and look at other violent incidents surrounding Tekashi’s rise. You can listen below. And click here to catch up on previous episodes.
