After dropping our Best TV Shows of 2019 (So Far) list earlier this week, you’d think we’d be given some downtime from fire television (and films). Nope. NOPE! Sure, Men In Black International and Shaft are in theaters, but this week? The real heat is on the small screen.
It’s funny because usually the summer has been seen as kind of a down time for television in the past. These days, with streaming services like Netflix, TV is literally ALWAYS ON. Services like HBO are primed and ready to drop some summertime sadness on the masses, and this past Sunday? A certified BANGER of a series has reemerged to get the rest of you shows out of the paint. Aside from that landmark return, there are also some promising series from one network that has two of our favorite talking heads on it that you should be up on.
