The Continental Hotel From ‘John Wick 3’ Will Be Recreated in NYC Ahead of Premiere

To commemorate the impending release of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Lionsgate is opening The Continental hotel for real in New York City. On May. 10, the famous hotel featured in the series of films will open at NYC’s One Hanson Place, exactly one week before the movie hits theaters on May. 17.
As hype intensifies for the third entry in the beloved action franchise, guests will be able experience The Continental for themselves. While the exact details on what fans will be able to do at the event haven’t been made available yet, it is clear that they’ve lovingly recreated the interior of the hotel. There’s been a lot of talk about John Wick 3 ever since production photos revealed Keanu Reeves riding a horse. In a recent feature with GQ, director Chad Stahelski revealed the scene in which Reeves rides the horse almost didn’t make the final cut. “Somebody took that picture while we were shooting in Brooklyn and released it,” he explained. “I thought it was cool. Keanu thought it was cool. I don’t think the studio thought it was cool. […] Nobody wanted the horses. I had to fight for that one. People thought it was too weird.”
