Rapidly ascending pop star Billie Eilish closed out March with the release of her long-awaited debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? The hype surrounding the 17-year-old L.A. native’s debut effort has paid off big-time, with the record topping the Billboard 200 albums chart with an impressive 313,000 album equivalent units, 170,000 of which were album sales Billboard reports. Her 2017 EP, Don’t Smile at Me, also climbed the charts this week, landing at No. 15.

The first-week performance for Eilish’s new project means that she’s secured the second-biggest opening week for an album in 2019 so far, behind only the unstoppable Ariana GrandeWHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP also had the second-biggest sales week of 2019 so far, trailing a little bit behind Backstreet Boys’ DNA. She’s now the first artist born in the 2000s with a No. 1 album, which also makes her the youngest woman to chart at No. 1 since Demi Lovato did it back in 2009 at the age of 16.

Meanwhile, Nipsey Hussle’s Victory Lap reentered the top ten at No. 2, with 66,000 units following his untimely passing, surpassing its previous peak at No. 4. Ariana Grande, meanwhile, continues to stick around near the top spot at No. 3, with 53,000 units. Juice WRLD’s Death Race for Love slid down to No. 5 on the chart.
