A “casting couch”-styled blooper scene originally attached to the end of Toy Story 2 has been removed from the latest release of the Pixar classic.

Deadline reported early Wednesday that Disney had scrubbed the scene, which shows Stinky Pete (voiced by Kelsey Grammer) from the recent 4K/Blu-ray/etc. re-release of the 1999 film. While Disney hasn’t publicly commented on the move, fans who watched the re-release started noting the scene’s removal in June before an initial report hit Rereleasenews.

The blooper scene in question shows Stinky Pete with two Barbie dolls, eventually offering one of them a Toy Story 3 role before he notices that cameras are rolling. The rest of the outtakes, which were initially added to prints of the theatrical version of the film shortly after its original release, previously appeared either during the closing credits or within the special features menu on prior DVD versions. The Blu-ray edition of the film, however, always included them in the credits.

In the new re-release, the Stinky Pete blooper scene in question is simply skipped over:

Presumably, this move was inspired by the #MeToo movement, which saw pivotal Pixar/Disney figure John Lasseter leave the animation empire following misconduct allegations.

Toy Story 4, meanwhile, is the presumed final entry in the revered franchise. At the time of this writing, the Keanu Reeves-featuring finale was resting on just shy of $510 million at the global box office and a 98 percent critics’ average on Rotten Tomatoes.

“The last few sessions were, we were saying goodbye to Woody and Buzz and Bonnie’s room and Andy and everybody and it was emotional,” Tom Hanks, who voices Woody, told Ellen DeGeneres last month of laying down audio for the franchise’s final moments.
