Whether it’s a flood of blocked bots or millions of entries to Travis Scott’s own website raffles, the Cactus Jack entertainer’s Air Jordan collaborations are sure to stir up buzz every time around. Now we’re learning that his latest pair was one of the biggest yet.
During Nike’s fiscal 2023 first quarter earnings call today, company president and CEO John Donahoe announced that July’s “Reverse Mocha” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low broke a record on Nike’s SNKRS app for most member entries ever. Donahoe confirmed a total of 3.8 million entries were submitted for the shoes, which released July 21 for a retail price of $150. They’re currently commanding an average of around $1,200 on resale markets.
The aforementioned “Reverse Mocha” Jordan 1 Low launch on Scott’s website drew 2.4 million entries in a short 30-minute span, a source confirmed to Complex in July. In May, another 1 million people submitted entries for the rapper’s Air Trainer 1.
Next up for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low range is a “Black/Phantom” colorway expected in December along with an olive pair rumored for next spring.
