A longtime fan (and now enemy) of Diet Coke, former President Donald Trump was spotted this week with what appears to be a bottle of the beverage, just days after encouraging his supporters to boycott the company.

The boycott comes after Coca-Cola Company CEO James Quincey said that he doesn’t support legislation in Georgia that “makes it harder for people to vote.” Trump then fired back at “WOKE CANCEL CULTURE,” asking his followers to boycott several different companies.

“For years the Radical Left Democrats have played dirty by boycotting products when anything from that company is done or stated in any way that offends them. Now they are going big time with the WOKE CANCEL CULTURE and our sacred elections,” Trump said Saturday via a Save America PAC statement. “It is finally time for Republicans and Conservatives to fight back — we have more people than they do — by far! Boycott Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS, and Merck. Don’t go back to their products until they relent. We can play a better game than them.”

Well, on Monday, a tweet from Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller made Twitter users wonder if the former president is following his own advice. The tweet, captioned “Just had a terrific meeting with President Trump,” appears to show a bottle of Diet Coke hidden behind a phone on Trump’s desk.

Twitter was quick to spot the secret bottle of soda, though, and users jumped on the opportunity to call out the former president for not following his own instructions. Fred Wellman, executive director of The Lincoln Project, wrote that Trump’s soda mishap was “so on brand.”

“Trump sending out a demand for his followers to boycott Coke then getting caught trying to hide a bottle in a picture with his favorite vampire is so on brand it’s like an ‘Inception’ level of layers of Trump brand,” he wrote.
