UK Drill Star DigDat Returns With New Project ‘Pain Built’

After a relatively quiet 2021, DigDat—one of UK drill’s leading lights—is back with a follow-up to his 2020 project, Ei8ht Mile. The new mixtape, Pain Built, bucks the trend of lengthy, sprawling projects by keeping the tracklist to a streamlined 10.
It’s a strictly solo affair so there are no features on this one, but he’s called in a rock-solid cast of producers for the beats, including M1OnTheBeat, R14, X10, Maniac, RFP, Zimma, SAIONTHEBEAT, Madera Beatz, X10, Soundtoyourmind, Jevon, and Scratcha.
As project rollouts go, this was a relatively low-key one. The first taste of the new project came all the way back in March last year with the release of “How High”, before officially announcing the project, its artwork and tracklisting a few days before Christmas.
