Vans Opens ComfyCush High to Launch Their New Comfort-Driven Technology

Vans champion comfort with their new ComfyCush technology brought to life at ComfyCush High in New York. 

Embracing over 50 years of skate heritage, Vans elevates their position as a classic sneaker brand with the launch of their new comfort-driver ComfyCush technology, transforming their most iconic silhouettes. This consumer-driven innovation offers the extra responsiveness fans have been chasing and does it in style. 

For the launch of the ComfyCush fitted Vans Era, the brand took to Bushwick, New York and opened the doors to ComfyCush High. The high school inspired event welcomed press and fans alike to explore the history of the brand via History class, and to get to grips with the new technology via Science class. Customised lockers invited attendees to flex their own pair of the newly tooled up Era’s, before rounding the night off with a huge performance from Lil Wayne. 

Speaking on the delivery of the new ComfyCush Era, Nathanial Iott, senior director of footwear design at Vans said: “The ComfyCush Era exemplifies how Vans is adapting to the evolving needs of our consumers. With comfort as the goal, the ComfyCush Era employs a one-piece constructed interior including tongue tie-downs for improved fit and feel, added arch support and a co-molded construction of foam and rubber to create the perfect combination of cushion and grip for lasting comfort.”
