Virgil Abloh to Debut Off-White Sneakers at “Floral Shop” Pop-Up

Virgil Abloh is going all out for Paris Men’s Fashion Week. Not only is he presenting his Off-White and Louis Vuitton men’s collections, the prolific designer is also launching a special pop-up store called “Floral Shop.”
Abloh teased the 13-day event in an interview with WWD. He revealed that the pop-up will showcase his new eponymous jewelry line, the Off-White Jitney handbag, as well as three limited edition Off-White sneaker: The ODSY-1000, the Vulcanized and 2.0. The latter two models can be purchased at the pop-up shop, while the ODSY designs will be available for pre-order.

“Floral Shop” will be located at Hôtel Costes, 239-241 Rue Saint Honoré, 75001 in Paris. The event kicks off on Thursday and will conclude Jan. 29, following Paris Haute Couture Week.
Abloh will also present his sophomore Louis Vuitton collection on the day of the pop-up’s launch. The 38-year-old designer said the label’s Fall/Winter 2019 men’s range was inspired by Michael Jackson.
“My next Louis Vuitton collection is going to be based on Michael Jackson,” he told Interview magazine last month, “and when I have Michael singing in the background, it’s a different type of shirt, it’s a different kind of boot, it’s a different fit of pants. Music is key.”
