Warner Bros. Shuffles Release Dates for ‘Aquaman 2,’ ‘Flash,’ ‘Black Adam’

Written by on March 9, 2022

DC fans will have to wait a bit longer to see some of their favorite characters on screen again, as Warner Bros. has pushed back the release dates of several 2022 titles, including Aquaman 2, The Flash, and Black Adam, Variety reports.

Both Aquaman 2 and The Flash have been pushed from 2022 to 2023. Ezra Miller’s first solo film as the scarlet speedster reportedly wrapped filming last October and was originally set to hit theaters on Nov. 4 of this year. It will now release on June 23, 2023, while Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman sequel is moving from Dec. 16, 2022 to March 17, 2023. Dwayne Johnson’s highly anticipated Black Adam is being released on Oct. 21, 2022 instead of July 29. Shazam! Fury of the Gods is the only movie to move up, going from a 2023 release to Dec. 12, 2022.

Other notable titles that are seeing date changes are Timothee Chalamet’s WonkaSuper-Pets also starring Johnson, and The Meg sequel, Meg 2: The Trench.
