Nearly three years after the release of his last solo project, 2019’s Indigo, Chris Brown returns with the lead single from his upcoming 10th studio album, Breezy.
The upbeat R&B track arrives alongside a Joseph Kahn-directed visual that gives Breezy a chance to show off his dance moves.
“Pinky ring worth ’bout two-fifty/Two-tone my Lambo’, that’s drippy/Bottle after bottle, now she tipsy/Can’t trust these hoes ’cause they iffy,” he sings over production courtesy of Smash David, OG Parker, and Blaq Tuxedo.
Brown took to Instagram on Friday to usher in the new era, writing, “New era has begun! Thank you to everyone who believes in me! Thank you for my team and team breezy.”
Breezy will mark Brown’s first full-length offering since his 2020 collaborative project with Young Thug, Slime & B, while serving as the official follow-up to his 2019 album Indigo. Although the past year came and went without a new solo project from Breezy, the singer stayed busy by delivering guest features for a wide range of artists, from H.E.R. to the late Pop Smoke to Wale.
As we wait to find out more details about Breezy’s upcoming album, check out the music video for “Iffy” up top, and stream the track now on all major platforms.
