Watch Freddie Gibbs Freestyle Over Drake’s “Money in the Grave”
Written by SOURCE on July 3, 2019
Freddie Gibbs stopped by Real 92.3 to freestyle over the beat to Drake‘s “Money in the Grave.”
Watch it up top.
The freestyle comes on the heels of Gibbs and Madlib’s newly released Bandana album arriving. The album contains 15 tracks and boasts features from Pusha-T, Anderson .Paak, Yassin Bey, Black Thought, and Killer Mike.
In addition to the freestyle, Gibbs talked to Bootleg Kev & DJ Hed about Bandana, Madlib, and more.
“I was up for the challenge,” Gibbs said about Madlib and his beats. “I want him to take me to different levels of making music that I never knew I could unlock. It’s a certain way you gotta attack these beats. If anybody could rap ’em, then everybody would be doing it.”
