Watch Jack Harlow Perform “Lil Secret” / “First Class” on ‘SNL’

Written by on October 30, 2022

Jack Harlow has taken over Studio 8H.

The Louisville native returned to Saturday Night Live this week to serve as both host and musical guest. He is now the second star to pull double duty in the series’ 48th season, following Megan Thee Stallion’s Oct. 15 appearance

For the music portion, Harlow kicked things off by bringing a medley of “Lil Secret” and “First Class.” Both songs appeared on Harlow’s sophomore studio album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, which arrived back in May.

Harlow made his SNL debut in March 2021, when he was tapped as the musical guest alongside host Maya Rudolph. The rapper performed “Tyler Herro” and his breakout hit “What’s Poppin” from his 2020 debut album, Thats What They All Say.

“I grew up watching SNL with my family every weekend,” Harlow wrote ahead of his 2021 appearance. “I vividly remember seeing Kanye perform Love Lockdown and Heartless in 2008. Thank you for making this happen. Another dream come true.”

Harlow just wrapped up the North American leg of his world tour. The trek will resume on Nov. 2 in in Birmingham, UK, followed by stops in Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, and Milan. You can check out the full tour schedule below.

The SNL gig will also give fans a taste of Harlow’s big-screen acting debut.

It was announced this year that he will star in the 20th Century Fox reboot of White Men Can’t Jump. Harlow spoke about the project during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, insisting the role wasn’t handed to him.

“You know, I did the work to get it,” he said. “I put the time in with the script. I sat with it. I considered things. I tried to be egoless during the audition, take notes, do what I had to do. I just want to kill it. I just want to be good and I want to do everything I can to make it good.”
