Watch Joji’s Video for New Song “Run”

Joji is coming off an impressive year. In 2019, the Japanese-born locked down a number of notable collaborations, earned his first platinum record with “Slow Dancing in the Dark,” and headlined a soldout North American tour. He’s looking to carry that momentum in 2020, beginning with his first single of the year, “Run.”
The song finds the 27-year-old reflecting on a crumbling relationship over haunting, atmospheric instrumentals. The guitar-driven track perfectly compliments Joji’s powerful vocals, and highlights his growth as an artist.
Hours after “Run” hit streaming services, Joji unleashed the song’s official video. Directed by Aisultan Seitov, the visual is said to be an illustration of the confinements of celebrity, as it shows Joji trying to find his way out of a space occupied by shallow people and countless distractions.
You can check out the video above, and stream the record on all major platforms.
“Run” serves as the lead single off Joji’s much-anticipated follow-up to BALLADS 1, his gold-certified debut album.
Fans can also catch Joji at Coachella 2020 in April.
