Watch Saweetie’s “My Type” Video f/ Cameos From Kehlani and Kamaiyah

Saweetie has got a hit on her hands with “My Type,” and now she’s here to give the song the celebratory visual it deserves. The “My Type” video sees Saweetie joined by friends, including the Bay Area’s Kamaiyah and Kehlani, as she throws a party, twerks on a basketball hoop, and raps in front of cars drifting. Directed by Daps, the video perfectly matches the energetic track.
“I had so much fun working on the creatives for this visual,” Saweetie told Complex. “I was inspired by my childhood and want the world to see how we have fun. Having Kehlani and Kamaiyah on set was crazy-three bad bosses from The Bay—ya’ll ain’t ready!”
Recently, Saweetie detailed how her 26th birthday was almost ruined before her boyfriend Quavo swooped in at the last minute to save the day. She specifically ordered a wig for the day, but when it arrived it was a completely different style than what she’d expected. Quavo surprised her with a party that managed to put a smile back on her face.
