Watch Smino’s Comedic Video for His Latest Single “Trina”

On Friday, St. Louis rapper Smino released the official video for “Trina,” a Kenny Beats and Lido-produced single dedicated to the titular Miami MC. The comedic visual begins with a nod to the classic 1995 film Friday, and follows Smino as he prepares to hit up the “first annual Underwater Playas Ball.”
“Stay off my grass like Stanley/Threw me cheeks on da beach, she sandy,” he raps on the hook. “Dat was my first time in Miami/Shawty played da Trina like bitch I’m da baddest.”

“Trina” is available to stream now on all major platforms. The track arrived a week after Smino released “Häagen Dazs” under the newly formed supergroup Ghetto Sage, which includes Noname and Saba.
