Watch the New Trailer for ‘Swarm,’ Co-Created by Donald Glover

We’ve now been given the most extensive look yet at Swarm, the upcoming Prime Video series from co-creators Donald Glover and Janine Nabers.
On Friday, the first full-length trailer for the new series was released on Friday, showing Dominique Fishback’s character Dre as she descends further into her obsession with a Beyoncé-like music star.
“She is not like everybody else,” we hear in narration. “She knows what we’re thinking and she gives it a name. She’s a goddess.”
The trailer, soundtracked by a cover of the still-ubiquitous Pixies classic “Where Is My Mind,” also provides a bit more insight on how Dre’s cross-country trek begins. For example, we see that she’s “still tweeting from that old ass Swarm account.” Later, Dre is acknowledged by someone in a diner as “a killer bee” and “part of the swarm.”
The series also features Chlöe Bailey as Dre’s sister, Marissa, and Damson Idris as Marissa’s boyfriend. Revealed Friday is that we can also expect to see Paris Jackson, Rickey Thompson, Byron Bowers, Kiersey Clemons, and Rory Culkin in the mix in undisclosed roles.
All episodes of Swarm, including the Donald Glover-directed pilot, will premiere on Prime Video on March 17. Atlanta alum Janine Nabers serves as showrunner on the new series, which started production prior to the airing of FX’s modern classic.
