Tory Lanez continues his steady stream of new music releases with “Broke in a Minute.”
The 27-year-old artist teased the cut on social media this past week, telling his followers he would “unlock” the song and its official video if the Instagram post received at least 1 million views. Lanez fans came through, of course.
“I like it, I spend it, I just came right out the jeweler/The ice on my neck, and my wrist, and my fist, I ain’t finished,” he raps. “I was just workin’ at Denny’s, came back and counted some millions/I ain’t no regular civilian/Red, yellow, green, look like my neck a chameleon.”
Shortly after “Broke in a Minute” hit streaming services on Friday, Lanez delivered his self-directed visual, which you can check out above.
The song arrived on the same night of his “Still Be Friends” track with G-Eazy and Tyga, and one week after he dropped “K Lo K” featuring Fivio Foreign. Lanez is now apparently working on the third installment of his New Toronto series, which will likely mark his first full-length project since 2019’s Chixtape 5.
