Westside Gunn drew the ire of a lot of wrestling fans on Twitter when he claimed his tiniest chain is worth more than iconic wrestler Mr. T’s entire collection.

“The Diff between me and Mr T is my smallest chain cost more than all his shit,” he wrote with three laughing emojis.

Wrestling fans took issue with this claim, considering Mr. T’s chain collection was the stuff of legends, and his daughter Erika Clark clapped back at the Griselda rapper.

“Difference is…All of it was real,” she wrote. “All of it was given to him. All of it is his. He still has all of it..And he was a movie star, TV star, commercial star with bedsheets. Pajamas, Lunch boxes, dolls, cereal, cartoons, Wrestlemania albums…He’s my dad too.”

Westside was quick to respond and clarify he meant no disrespect to Mr. T’s legacy.

“I love MRT,” he wrote on Twitter. “I was literally just sitting here thinking how he was so dope for the Culture how he was able to jump into the wrestling world and be fly, get on TV shows, movies, action figures, he was a one of one.”

Gunn might have just been making a grandiose flex about his jewelry collection, but it’s a flex well earned. He recently dropped off Side B to his epic finale project Hitler Wears Hermes 8, with features from an overwhelming number of A-list rappers.

“This is the last one,” he confirmed in an interview with Apple Music. “And the thing is, even though I used that title, it’s never been in a negative way. But it’s just like, I’m an exec. I’m just not an artist. I own Griselda Records, so it’s a lot of partnerships, a lot of things that I want to do. And that title kind of hinders those things…it had its mark. It did what it did. I mean, we on Part 8. So, even though I make it for more the underground, it’s still mainstream now. You just got to be mindful of other people’s feelings. I get it.”
