He not only highlighted his RIAA certified-singles, but also the \u201ccrazy\u201d deep cuts he\u2019s delivered over the years.<\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhen I say I\u2019m one of the greatest rappers of all time.\u00a0I mean it with all my heart,\u201d he wrote.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve put out more QUALITY music than most. My deep cuts are crazy. My singles all got plaques. Decade plus. THAT is why I\u2019m heavy on the gratitude.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To no one\u2019s surprise, Wale\u2019s comments set off a wave of mixed reactions, especially after the tweet was shared on the Shade Room\u2019s Instagram page. While some fans co-signed the declaration, others argued that\u00a0true G.O.A.T. status isn\u2019t self-proclaimed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will never understand why people call themselves the greatest of all time\u2026\u201d one user wrote. \u201cIsn\u2019t that for the fans to declare?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah this is a stretch actually a big one,\u201d another\u00a0added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re great u don\u2019t have to say it, others will \ud83e\udd37\ud83c\udffe\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83e\udd26\ud83c\udffe\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83e\udd74\u201d read one comment.<\/p>\n<p>Wale was seemingly unfazed by those who questioned his declaration:<\/p>\n<section class=\"suitcase-ad\"\/>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time Wale has referred to himself as one of the hip-hop\u00a0greats.
