The D.C. native continued her strong run on Friday with her debut performance on\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/tag\/npr\" rel=\"noopener\">NPR<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/tag\/tiny-desk-concert\" rel=\"noopener\">Tiny Desk Concert<\/a>\u00a0series, where she was backed by an all-female band.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like having a band,\u201d Rico said during her 13-minute set.\u00a0\u201cEspecially when it\u2019s all girls.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The genre-fusing artist performed a range of old and new tracks, including\u00a0\u201cMagic,\u201d \u201cOHFR,\u201d \u201cTrust Issues,\u201d and her hit 2020 single \u201cSmack a Bitch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know where you at, where you watching this,\u201d Rico said. \u201cYou better break some shit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You can check out her Tiny Desk Concert performance via YouTube above.
