He released his debut studio record\u00a0<em>Grandson, Vol. 1\u00a0<\/em>last year, and followed up it up with\u00a0<em>Levon James<\/em>\u00a0back in March 2020. Aside from his collabs with Lil Durk, he also worked with NLE Choppa, Yungeen Ace, Fivio Foreign, G Herbo, and Sada Baby among others. He had just released his third album\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/2020\/10\/king-von-new-album-welcome-to-o-block\">Welcome to O’Block<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>on Oct. 30.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Per the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1013X497480&isjs=1&jv=14.4.0-stackpath&sref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.complex.com%2Fmusic%2F2020%2F11%2Fking-von-dead&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ajc.com%2Fnews%2Fbreaking-gbi-called-to-officer-involved-shooting-in-downtown-atlanta%2FPFMSIIJ5V5H5FGRZEWYTP3DR5A%2F&xguid=03c85a83cd2676958418fd27eb80d73f&xs=1&xtz=0&xuuid=fd7d4720a5c8cc2af8a7e2cdc7cf09f5&abp=1&xjsf=other_click__auxclick%20%5B2%5D\"><em>Atlanta Journal-Constitution<\/em><\/a>, Von was fatally shot during an incident outside a nightclub in downtown Atlanta on Friday morning. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2020\/11\/06\/rapper-king-von-shot-killed-atlanta-shootout-dead-dies\/\">TMZ<\/a> reports\u00a0that six people in total were shot, with three dead including Von, and three others who fled before ending up in hospital. The initial <em>AJC\u00a0<\/em>report\u00a0noted authorities had been called to the club in the 24 hours prior to the shooting to investigate a different shooting, although there is no apparent link between the incidents.
