Since first emerging right at the very end of 2021 as a bright new talent in Ghana’s blossoming drill scene—dubbed Asakaa—Yaw Tog enjoyed an almost vertical rise to the top, taking his sound global and collaborating with our very own Stormzy.
For his latest single, “Azul”, Yaw Tog teamed up with Nigeria’s Bad Boy Timz and it’s a bit of a surprise, swapping out the drill hallmarks of previous releases and replacing them with something a little lighter and a little breezier.
