Just a week after announcing its existence, Yo Gotti’s CMG imprint continues its hot streak with the release of the compilation album Gangsta Art.
The 27-track project includes the previously released singles “Big League” and “Steppers,” as well as guest features from Kodak Black, Coi Leray, BIG30, and more.
CMG’s star-studded cast represented here includes Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, Blac Youngsta, EST Gee, GloRilla, Blocboy JB, Mozzy, Lil Poppa, Big Boogie, Lehla Samia, and 10Percent.
Gangsta Art arrives roughly a week after CMG signed its newest member, rising Memphis rapper GloRilla, who’s recently catapulted into the mainstream on the strength of her breakout hit “FNF (Let’s Go).” GloRilla is the fifth artist signed to CMG this year, following R&B artist Lehla Samia, 10Percent, Lil Poppa, and Mozzy.
Earlier this week, Gotti announced Lil Uzi Vert will perform at the eighth iteration of the Yo Gotti and Friends Birthday Bash at Memphis’ FedEx Forum this Friday.
“#Memphis Big Announcement,” he wrote on Instagram. “For 1st time ever I’m bringing @liluzivert to perform at Birthday Bash 8. This biggest show of da year!!!! 7/15.”
The event will be livestreamed on the Amazon Music’s Twitch channel starting at 9 p.m. ET.
