Young Nudy Granted Bond, Expected to Be Released

Young Nudy has been granted a $100,000 bond and is expected to be released from jail in the near future.
The Atlanta rapper, who was arrested at the same time that 21 Savage was detained by ICE, is being held on gang- and gun-related charges. His attorney Scott Smith told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he plans to plead not guilty to those charges.
“We are very pleased with the result. We are looking forward to getting him out so he can be with his family,” Smith said. “He is looking forward to getting back out on tour and to continue to have this incredible success performing.”
Savage’s arrest quickly overshadowed Nudy’s as news broke that Savage was not an American citizen and had been living as an undocumented immigrant for years. However, both Atlanta-claiming rappers were taken into custody over Super Bowl weekend.
News that 21 Savage was out of detention and heading back to Atlanta quickly led fans of the “Friday” artist to ask where Nudy was.
Rapper SG Tip, who was also arrested during the stop of 21 Savage and Young Nudy, posted as soon as he was out and called for freeing Nudy.
It looks like fans and friends are about to get their wish.
