In a timely move, Young Thug has linked with Gunna and Turbo for a new song titled “Quarantine Clean.”
The song, which was teased across YSL social channels this week, sees the three artists donning full quarantine-appropriate gear as a nod to our global COVID-19 concerns.
Stream “Quarantine Clean,” hopefully while engaging in socially distant activities from the comfort of your own home, below via Spotify or on Apple Music.
Thugger previously shared a message of support for healthcare workers around the world amid COVID-19 containment efforts:
Last month, Thugger appeared on Joyner Lucas’ ADHD album cut “The War.” His most recent full-length, So Much Fun, dropped to critical acclaim back in August and ultimately bagged the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 during its opening week. Fans are currently still waiting for more word on his presumed follow-up Punk, a project he previously teased to the Fader as containing “most definitely touching music” against the backdrop of his interpretation of the term.
“It’s music that the world is going to embrace,” Thugger said last year. “Punk means brave, not self centered, conscious. Very, very neglected, very misunderstood. Very patient, very authentic.” He later made comparisons between the as-yet-unreleased new album and the 2Pac catalog, telling Rolling Stone that Punk is “probably” both his best and personal favorite project to date.
