While Young Thug is enjoying the release of his latest album, Punk, the Atlanta rapper is still thinking about developing the recently purchased land that he wants to turn into “Slime City.”
“I wanna make Slime City solar powered wya @elonmusk,” Thug tweeted at the SpaceX CEO on Tuesday.
Thug was gifted 100 acres of land by his manager for his 30th birthday in August and decided to turn the property into “Slime City,” where he’ll build new homes, a waterpark, a camping site, and a trail to ride dirt bikes and ATVs. Thug also plans on hosting a music festival on the plot of land called Slime Fest when development is complete.
When talking to Complex, Thug said that his goal for Slime City is to make it a haven for Black kids.
“Most of the city is going to be something that has something to do with kids,” he said. “Summer camps, school. A private school for Black kids.”
Meanwhile, on the music front, it’s going to be a photo finish to see which album tops the Billboard 200 chart as Punk is currently projected to be nearly neck-and-neck with Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, according to Hits Daily Double.
