On the bright side, congrats Ella for 19 weeks with “Choosin’ Texas”, I know a lot of the pop fans are not that big into it, but I like it.
For the stagnancy issue, man when is Act III dropping? When is that supposed new Kendrick album dropping? Can “Risk I All”, one of Olivia’s new songs or any of the Spiderman streaming hits come up here? Adele?
Also, when are we getting new artists on the charts again? Lowk I think labels are scared of their artists being called “industry plants” if they push them too much. Like, I miss when random reggae bands from Canada were still competing with the top dogs for #1 😔
Another boring week, sorry but, most of the songs are almost in the same positions, the only difference is that "Boston" is at 2, I don't like the song but I'd like to see it at 1, at least to see something new taking the spot .
Even if I’m tired of ‘Choosin’ Texas’ and not that big on ‘Boston’, there are a couple of funny coincidences with them both being in the Top 2. The first is that the artists rhyme with one another (Ella and Stella). The second is that one song is named after a US state and the other is named after a US city.
On a positive note, ‘Stupid Song’ finally seems to be getting a bit more support on the radio. I feel like this should’ve happened a lot sooner than it did, but if it continues its momentum for long enough to return to the Top 10, that would be amazing to see.
Everyone’s asking when we’ll get a new #1 and I’m just here wondering when the Top 10 will start to become interesting again. At least when ‘Old Town Road’ or even ‘A Bar Song’ hit this milestone, it still felt like there was a bit more activity in the region. “Boring” is an understatement at this point.

I'm tired of country 😭
@EnzoSandovalccw8BE On August 25, 2026 at 5:20 am
Tying with two country songs that also spent 19 weeks, but only "Old Town Road" stayed on top for 19 consecutive weeks.
@jadenthemusicfreak On August 25, 2026 at 5:20 am
Alright do the charts just never move at all anymore???

Choosin Texas has been in the top 2 since February.
@chapter7thomas On August 25, 2026 at 5:20 am
Just so everyone knows, Choosin Texas should actually be #1 now for a 29th week…instead of just 19.
@Joseph_loves_Thrushpelt On August 25, 2026 at 5:20 am
I wouldn't be mad to see all ten songs replaced next week. They've all been here for too long.
@JCnCharles On August 25, 2026 at 5:20 am
I lowkey want to see “Boston” hit #1 soon…yeah the song may be unoriginal and bland but it is catchy and we’re in need for a new #1 soon

Looks like we will get a mini album bomb from Phoebe Bridgers. This should be interesting….
