I don’t think I will take my long break from the billboard community after all, rather I’m just probably gonna try to be on my phone less, I think that’s the only balance I really need.
Also Nickels And Dimes has the strongest week at #1 of any song in 2026 so far.
Jesus, this week is a bust. I just feel my enthusiasm for pop music draining with each week, ngl, but in this case it’s mostly because Janice STFU, and that mid Morgan/Ella collab both rose up suddenly, along with a couple old songs. And yet Stupid Song is suddenly just… gone, because… idk, reasons.
As much as I love "Chossin Texas" it would be refreshing to see another song at 1, it could be "Be her" Idk but I think that we want to see something taking the spot
It’s such a shame that Olivia’s singles are falling off so fast. ‘Stupid Song’ and ‘The Cure’ deserved way more than just two weeks in the Top 10. Hopefully at least one of them will come back later in the summer.
Interestingly, even though 'Dracula' has spent six weeks in the Top 10, this is the first time that it’s been above the #10 position. Even with a remix, it’s impressive to think that it’s now charted for ten months and is still on the rise. Good to see it having a lot of staying power.
We’re now in July and the #1 song is the same one that we had on Valentine’s Day. Since then, no other single has spent more than two weeks at the summit. That just shows how weak the competition has generally been in 2026. Let’s hope the second half of the year a lot more interesting.

I don’t have anything more to say, I’m so tired.

Great to see "Dracula" reaching a new peak, that's amazing, I hope it can still climbing

Why do I get the feeling this will be a weird week for new debuts?
