Finally, a chart refresh that’s very needed! I didn’t think “Stupid Song” would return to the top 10, but it’s very cool that it did. After all this time, “Man I Need” as well as “So Easy…” have finally left the charts and while I love both song, they have overstayed their welcome to where I’m glad they’re gone. I’m pretty sure“Man I Need” ended its run as the 11th biggest Hot 100 #2 hit and will most certainly be the 2nd biggest hit of 2026 (which as far as the runner-up roster goes, this hasn’t happen since “Thinking Out Loud” in 2015), and “So Easy…” will likely be high up on the list as well.
Though on the topic of Dean, can we talk about that new lawsuit? Like, how is it that the most obvious interpolation I’ve heard since “Me And My Broken Heart” re-using the melody of “Lonely No More” did not have writing credits for the song it’s heavily inspired by? Or at least I thought it was inspired by? And I’m not even blaming Dean for this bc it’s usually on the label. Eh, either way congrats Olivia for a huge year.

I'm sick and tired of TAYLOR SWIFT all of her music sounds pretty much the same and I think she'd be and do better if she tried to go back and embrace country music again because she hasn't really had or made any great music for quite some time and I know that probably others feel the same way, she has done ran her course after 20 years and quite frankly I'm just tired of her and would like to see some newcomers have great music and be able to chart and give us a better variety of music and I have to add DRAKE along here too, these 2 are over saturating the charts and neither has put out any good music in quite some time and quite frankly I'm sick of the both of them!

I'm so happy to finally see a new song taking the spot this year!!!! Patient Zero is a good song and I think the deluxe is much better than the standard version. It's good to see new songs and movements in the the top 10.

So thrilled to see Stupid Song jump back into the top 10, it truly does deserve it! And FINALLY something other than Choosin’ Texas at #1. Along with some other new entries courtesy of Taylor, which I’m not saying are particularly good, but wow I’ll take anything as long as we’re getting new entries at this point. This week is actually interesting!

Yay! I’m so happy to see “Stupid Song” back in after the tour, and to also see Taylor taking over, despite this deluxe attempt being a let down. Also thank you to Olivia Dean for bringing 2 great songs into the top 10 for quite a while, now that both are gone, there is an opening for more new songs. What a hopeful week!

With both ‘Man I Need’ and ‘So Easy’ departing the Top 10 this week, it’s very likely that both of Olivia Dean’s singles are recurrent and won’t be returning. I’m glad that she’s had such a big year on the chart and I love both songs, but they spent most of 2026 here so I’m fine with them leaving now.

Despite the Taylor takeover, I’m absolutely delighted to see ‘Stupid Song’ climb back into the Top 10 for Olivia Rodrigo. For anyone wondering, it got a big boost this week thanks to physical copies of it being shipped and the start of her tour. Fantastic song and hopefully it can stick around this time!

Even if I prefer Taylor’s other albums, I’m just relieved that there’s a fair amount of movement here for once. It’s been such a long time since we had this level of activity in the Top 10. It may just be for one week only, but it’s also good to finally see a change at #1 for the first time since the end of June.
