I love Tyla but she didn't answer anything. I hope she also knows a lot about the queen Madonna.

We love Tyla -Maya Angelou’s words, shared by Oprah, keep coming to my mind: “Blow, bite and blow.” Maya explained it as being pecked at little by little, where someone takes a small piece of you with the intentionto kill you without you even knowing, blows on it so you do not feel it, and then comes back and takes another piece. Little by little, until you have been worn down without even realising what is happening.
And that is what I feel I have been watching with Tyla.
The media narratives those behind it. The constant picking apart. The awkward moments being highlighted. The twisted interpretations. The people creating and pushing these narratives/lies and those who continue to support them. We see it.
And Tyla, we see you too. ❤️🇿🇦
You are human. You come from a country that carries the painful history of apartheid which you had to experience, and yet you have continued to step onto stages around the world and show up as yourself. It must be incredibly difficult to have people judge you, bully you gor lies and twisted words or try to define you because of where you come from and who you are and try to break you for that especially when you never projected it on others and when you have never needed to diminish anyone else to shine.
What hurts me most is that you are the one who has to carry the weight of all of this.
But we are so proud of the way you continue to walk out there. You keep showing up. You keep pushing forward. You keep showing kindness and supporting others even when you are the one going through something.
There is something bright and powerful within you, Tyla and yes, people may try to blow against that flame, little by little, but keep your light burning.
To those who have a heart of God, Maya Angelou’s message was simple – STOP IT. Do not participate in tearing another person down piece by piece because of lies or wanting to understand or for money
And to Tyla – we see you. We see how hard this journey has been but we have also seen how strong you are and how far you have come . We see beyond the narratives and the twisted words. Keep going. We are behind you, supporting you and cheering you on all the way. ❤️🇿🇦
