Delighted to see “Opalite” at #1!! On the opposite side, I feel bad for “Man I Need” and all it’s failed attempts to reach #1, still have hopes..
Also I hope to see “Ordinary” out of here soon.

Nice to see Opalite at #1, a fun song to listen to and probably my favorite off Showgirl, that said, I’m interested to see what happens to it since it will definitely not have the sales it had from last week and its streams are still low

    My favorite songs chart

Sam Smith grabs his 1st number and Demi Lovato’s Scores her second number 1 as I’m Ready rises to number 1 after finally getting the boost it needed following Valentines weekend.
Also Bad Bunny and Valentines Songs take over the top 10 for me.

10 Baile Inolvidable Reentry Peak 10(New Peak)
9 Let Her Go +56 Peak 1(x2)(Gain due to valentines weekend.)
    8 Eastside Reentry Peak 1
    7 Closer Reentry Peak 1(x33)
6 Perfect +4 Peak 1(Gain due to valentines weekend)
5 DMF +3 Peak 5(Gain and New Peak due the half time show.)
4 Titi Me Pregunto +2 Peak 4(Gain and got new peak due to the half time show)
    3 Senorita +1 Peak 1(x13)(Gain due to Valentine’s weekend)
2 Ojitio Lindos +3 Peak 2(Gain even if not performed at the half time show . But still is a bad bunny song and my favorite bad bunny song + New Peak)
1 I’m Ready +2 Peak 1(New Peak , Marks Sam Smith’s first number 1 and Demi Lovato’s Second number 1 on my chart following this is me With Joe Jones and Disney . Gained due to valentine’s weekend. So it finally got the push it needed to be at 1.)

It looks like Olivia Dean’s chances of getting the #1 are sadly gone. That said, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest hits of the year which is fantastic considering she never even made the Hot 100 before this. Hopefully Bruno Mars can challenge for the top spot again with the upcoming album release.

With ‘Opalite’ leading the Hot 100, we already have our fifth #1 hit of the year excluding songs that got there in previous years, and they’ve all been different genres. It took until the start of June to reach this point in 2025. After how slow last year was, the fast turnover at the top is a huge positive.

I’d rather ‘Opalite’ was released as a lead single so that it could’ve been #1 in October, rather than needing a number of remixes and vinyl to get there. That said, it’s easily my favourite track on the album and the music video was very creative. Well done to Taylor on her 14th Hot 100 leader!
